This course helps professionals quickly learn key concepts and steps to define and calculate the full Blended Value for their health equity, social needs, or population health programs and investments. In addition to self-paced videos and a real-world case study, students will have access to the Blended Value Toolkit - a collection of Worksheets and Tip Sheets. As students learn key concepts and steps, they can use the Toolkit to gather data and assumptions for their own program or investment. After the course, students can use this Toolkit to enter information into and create financial models for their own programs using HealthBegins’ Blended Value Model for Health Equity, which is offered for purchase separately.
This self-paced and asynchronous online course includes ten modules with Masterclass-style video lessons, interactive knowledge checks, practical worksheets to help you apply what you learn, and reference tip sheets for ongoing support.
The duration of the video content is about 1 hour and 30 minutes, across ten modules. However, make sure to reserve some time to complete the worksheets that complement each module. We recommend completing 1-2 modules per week, and blocking off 30-60 minutes per week to complete worksheets.
